Harvey was a lifelong resident of Johnston Square. She served as the administrator of the Irvine Nature Center for many years, where she was instrumental in promoting environmental education and nature conservation. After retiring from the nature center, Harvey became a passionate advocate for her neighborhood, serving on the neighborhood association board and working to preserve its historic character and community spirit.
