Avond4daagse: A Celebration of Walking

The Avond4daagse is an annual four-day walking event organized by the Royal Dutch Walking Association (KWbN). It aims to promote walking as a healthy and enjoyable activity, especially among children and families.

52 Four-Day Events Planned for 2024

For the upcoming 2024 edition, 52 four-day events are planned across the Netherlands. More than 540 of the country's municipalities will host the event, with dates ranging from May to June.

Avond4daagse in Westerpark, Amsterdam

One of the most popular events will be held in the Westerpark in Amsterdam. This year, the Avond4daagse Westerpark will take place from June 3 to 6. Registration for the 2024 event has already closed.

A Tradition for Schoolchildren

The Avond4daagse has become a beloved tradition for many Dutch schoolchildren. Each evening, groups of children stay up late to walk the designated routes, often accompanied by their parents or teachers.

Promoting Health and Community
